Hurghada Water Sports Package: 8 Easy Booking Checks

Snorkeler above a coral reef

A Hurghada water sports package should tell you exactly which activities you are booking, how long the complete outing takes and what the total covers. Parasailing, an island boat day and a private speedboat are different products. A list of exciting activities does not mean that every one is included in a single ticket.

This guide compares the current Hurghada Travels programs and their inclusions. Start with your must-have activity, then check the time, age categories, hotel transfer and optional purchases. For the flight itself, see the main parasailing guide; for reef excursions, use the snorkeling trip guide.

Programs and published prices rechecked on 27 September 2026. Confirm availability and the final arrangement for your date before booking.

1. Compare the actual packages

The following are separate bookable programs. Choose one from its own booking page; do not combine inclusions from different rows or assume that a more expensive option contains all the cheaper activities.

Short flight: standalone parasailing

Parasailing in Hurghada costs €25 for ages 11 and over and €15 for ages 4–10. The complete activity is approximately 1.5 hours, with about 10–15 minutes of flight. The program includes the boat-based flight, required equipment, crew assistance and Hurghada hotel transfer. It is not an island day, a snorkeling excursion or an inflatable-games package.

Underwater windows plus flight: Panorama and parasailing

The Panorama semi-submarine and parasailing combination costs €50 for ages 11 and over and €25 for ages 4–10. Allow approximately four hours overall. It combines underwater-cabin viewing, the diver show and an optional snorkeling stop with the parasailing activity. The vessel stays at the surface; its lower viewing cabin provides the underwater view.

The package has a 10–15-minute flight, not four hours of flying. Snorkeling equipment and Hurghada transfer are included. Do not add island entry, a buffet lunch or banana and sofa rides to this program unless a separate confirmed arrangement explicitly includes them.

Full-day island programs

Orange Bay and Paradise Island each cost €25 for ages 11 and over and €15 for ages 4–10. Each is an approximately eight-hour program with two planned snorkeling stops, around two hours at its named island destination, equipment, lunch, drinks and Hurghada transfer. Water activities are planned when conditions allow. Neither base program includes parasailing.

Private boat for one group

The private speedboat dolphin and snorkeling tour is €150 total for the whole boat for one to six people, including children within that capacity. It is an approximately four-hour program. The price remains €150 whether one person or six join; it is not €150 per person. Its listed program includes a private captain, a wild-dolphin search and snorkeling, equipment and life jackets, fruit, water and soft drinks, and Hurghada hotel transfer.

A sea-and-desert combination

The parasailing and three-hour safari combination is €50 for ages 11 and over and €15 for ages 4–10. Allow approximately five hours overall. It combines a 10–15-minute parasailing flight with the safari program, including stops. This is a different choice from a day of water games: the desert activity does not provide extra time snorkeling or visiting an island.

Ages 0–3 have a free fare category on the shared programs above. That fare does not authorize participation in a flight, water game, quad ride or snorkeling activity. Include every traveler and give each child’s age before confirming.

From the company album: a parasailing activity. A flight is included only in the programs that explicitly list it.

2. Check which water games are included

The current Orange Bay and Paradise pages list Banana Boat or water activities subject to suitable sea conditions. This is more limited than a guaranteed list of banana, sofa, tube rides and a floating aqua park. Do not buy an island ticket solely on the assumption that all those attractions will operate.

If one specific ride is the reason you want a Hurghada water sports package, ask whether that ride is part of the selected program and how participation is decided. A photograph, old review or general list of local activities does not establish today’s included program. The operating crew may change or cancel water activities if conditions are unsuitable.

There is no separate banana-and-sofa package in the current bookable selection used for this comparison. Ask about availability before treating a standalone sea-games session as a confirmed product. Do not assume it can be added at the marina for a particular price.

Also distinguish an included conditional activity from a paid optional extra. An operator’s decision to omit a game does not tell you the refund calculation, and buying a different activity is not automatically part of the original ticket. Ask the booking team how an affected component will be handled.

3. Separate flight time from the full program

Choose the complete outing around your hotel plans, not just the minutes spent doing the headline activity. A parasailing flight lasts about 10–15 minutes, while the full standalone program is approximately 1.5 hours. The Panorama combination is approximately four hours because it contains another excursion and coordination between activities.

The confirmed pickup is also a separate piece of information. A displayed activity time is not necessarily the time a vehicle reaches your hotel. Give the full hotel name, especially outside Hurghada, and ask for the expected return before combining an excursion with checkout, dinner or another paid booking.

A couple wanting only the flight can compare the standalone product with the combination. Two adult standalone tickets total €50 before applicable extras; two adult Panorama-and-parasailing tickets total €100. The extra activity, duration and personal preference explain the difference. The combination should not be described as a discount unless a comparable current price calculation supports that claim.

Underwater-cabin viewing is part of the Panorama combination. Confirm boarding access separately if steps or confined spaces are a concern.

4. Choose an island day or a private boat

The shared Orange Bay and Paradise trips suit a full-day plan with reef stops, island time and an included lunch. Select the destination you actually want to visit. Booking Paradise does not give interchangeable entry to Orange Bay, and a photograph of a different beach does not change the itinerary.

On both current island programs, snorkeling is optional. Someone choosing the boat and beach portions should still check boarding, access and supervision arrangements. Neither a shallow-looking photograph nor a life jacket establishes that every participant should enter the water. For separate needs, read the guide for non-swimmers and discuss them before confirmation.

The private boat reserves the boat for your group, but it does not mean an unlimited route, unlimited operating time or guaranteed dolphin sightings. Its approximately four-hour program is different from the eight-hour shared island programs. The captain decides the workable route and stops within the confirmed arrangement.

On the private product, Orange Bay is optional at €10 per visitor. Fruit, water and soft drinks are included; a full lunch is not listed in its base program. The boat has a toilet and freshwater shower. Parasailing and inflatable games are not automatically included. See the private boat guide for the complete program and private boat price guide for the quoted total.

5. Calculate the total for your travelers

Compare a Hurghada water sports package using the actual travelers and hotel. Shared excursions use their adult and child categories; the private boat uses a fixed whole-boat base price. Mixing these two charging methods gives a misleading comparison.

Example: two adults and one eight-year-old

  • Standalone parasailing: €25 + €25 + €15 = €65.
  • Panorama and parasailing: €50 + €50 + €25 = €125.
  • Orange Bay or Paradise: €25 + €25 + €15 = €65 for either selected island program.
  • Parasailing and safari: €50 + €50 + €15 = €115.
  • Private boat: €150 total for the group, before optional Orange Bay or a separately confirmed outside-Hurghada transfer.

These are base-price examples, not participation approvals or guaranteed availability. The eight-year-old’s ticket category does not establish permission to fly, use a water game or drive a quad. A family’s preferred activity must also be workable for its individual participants.

The shared programs listed here include Hurghada hotel pickup and return. Their published outside-Hurghada supplements are €5 per person for Makadi Bay or Sahl Hasheesh and €10 per person for Soma Bay, Safaga or El Gouna. Ask the team to confirm the transfer total for the whole party, including any infant, before payment.

For the private boat, an outside-Hurghada transfer is quoted separately. Do not apply the shared-program €5/€10 rates to it automatically. Give the hotel’s full name rather than only a resort area, and confirm whether any additional collection arrangement changes the total.

6. Check each activity for each participant

A package can contain activities with different requirements. Being able to sit in a viewing cabin does not establish eligibility for parasailing. Being comfortable on a boat does not establish swimming ability, and a child’s fare does not establish equipment fit.

For parasailing, single or tandem arrangements depend on combined weight, conditions and the crew’s decision. Do not assume every couple flies together or that a free infant fare means an infant can fly. Discuss boarding, harness fit and individual concerns with the responsible team. Use the parasailing participation guide for questions to resolve.

For snorkeling or water games, explain swimming ability and ask about the exact activity and equipment before participation. Follow the briefing and the crew’s operating decision. Do not pressure someone to join because their ticket includes the activity; ask how non-participation affects the arrangement before booking.

For a family or group, send one accurate passenger list. Include each child’s age and anyone who prefers the boat or viewing portion. Confirm whether everyone can remain together throughout the program and what supervision is needed if the party splits between activities. Do not assume a crew member provides private childcare.

At reef stops, keep equipment clear of coral and do not touch or stand on it. NOAA explains how contact damages reefs in its coral protection guidance. Follow the local crew’s briefing and designated access; buying snorkeling equipment does not give permission to walk across the reef.

7. Understand changes and cancellations

Daily wind and sea conditions may affect flight operation, games, stops and the order of activities. A generic forecast or a preferred morning time does not guarantee the departure. Ask for the operating status of your actual booking and keep the confirmed pickup unless the team agrees a change.

The current cancellation and date-change policy gives a full refund for cancellation received at least 24 hours before the confirmed start. Later cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. Deadlines use local time in Egypt and are based on receipt of the request through the details in your booking confirmation.

A date-change request received at least 24 hours ahead has no change fee, subject to availability, any price difference and confirmation. If the company cancels the tour, including for unsafe weather, you may choose an available alternative date or a full refund. Any non-refundable ticket or committed-cost exception must be disclosed before payment.

If only one part of a combination is affected, ask how the remaining or already completed activities are treated. The general policy does not specify a universal partial-refund amount for every combination. For timing and postponement questions, read when to postpone parasailing.

8. Confirm pickup, equipment and extras

Before reserving your Hurghada water sports package, request a confirmation that names the product, date, travelers, hotel, pickup, total and included activities. Keep that confirmation available during the outing so an optional purchase can be distinguished from the agreed program.

Pack for the activities you selected. Swimwear, a towel, dry clothing, sun protection and a secure place for valuables are practical for a boat or island day. Bring personal medication you normally need and discuss any relevant accommodation requirements in advance. See the boat-trip packing checklist rather than assuming towels or every personal item are supplied.

Photos and videos are separate purchases unless explicitly included in your confirmation. Agree their price, what you receive and delivery arrangements before accepting. An item offered aboard is not automatically included because the excursion was sold as a package.

For the island trips, lunch and drinks are included. Tell the team about dietary requirements before booking so it can check the available meal. Do not infer a special menu, unlimited island purchases or a meal on every short activity from the full-day island inclusions.

Water sports package questions

How do I book a listed activity without an advance deposit?

Use the selected trip’s booking page or contact our team with your date, full hotel name, all travelers and children’s ages. Confirm availability, participation requirements, pickup and the total including any hotel supplement. No advance deposit is required. Pay cash in euros to our representative on the trip day, at pickup before the excursion begins. Use the exact selected program’s fare and inclusions; requesting extra activities does not make them part of the standard ticket.

Does one Hurghada water sports package include every activity?

No. Select a named program and use its listed inclusions. Standalone parasailing, Panorama combinations, island days and a private boat are separate products.

Does an Orange Bay ticket include parasailing?

The current base Orange Bay program includes reef stops, island time, lunch, drinks and conditional water activities. Parasailing is not listed as part of that ticket.

Are banana, sofa and tube rides all guaranteed?

No. The current island pages list Banana Boat or water activities subject to conditions. Confirm a specific ride rather than assuming a guaranteed list of inflatables.

Is a floating aqua park included at Paradise Island?

The current bookable inclusions do not confirm floating aqua-park admission. An old photograph or review is not enough to treat it as included. Ask before booking if this is essential.

How much is Panorama with parasailing?

The published price is €50 for ages 11 and over and €25 for ages 4–10. Ages 0–3 have a free fare category, which does not establish activity eligibility. Confirm the hotel and participants.

Is the private boat €150 per person?

No. It is €150 total for the whole boat for one to six people, including children within capacity. Optional Orange Bay is €10 per visitor; outside-Hurghada pickup is quoted separately.

Can I add parasailing at the marina after booking another trip?

Do not assume availability, a particular price or a workable connection. Ask the booking team to confirm an additional activity and its timing before relying on it.

Do four hours in a combination mean four hours of flying?

No. The Panorama and parasailing combination is about four hours overall. The parasailing flight itself is about 10–15 minutes.

Can a non-swimmer buy a combination?

Discuss the intended activities and access with the team. Viewing through a cabin window does not require snorkeling, but it does not automatically establish eligibility for a flight or water game.

Does a child ticket guarantee participation?

No. Age-based pricing is separate from equipment fit, crew assessment, swimming needs and activity-specific requirements. Provide each child’s age and intended activities before confirmation.

Can I book seven people on the private boat?

The current private product has a maximum of six people, including children. Ask for a different confirmed arrangement for a larger group; do not omit a child from the count.

Is a combination always cheaper than separate activities?

Not necessarily. For two adults, standalone parasailing totals €50 while Panorama with parasailing totals €100. For two adults and one child aged 4–10, the respective base totals are €65 and €125. These are different programs; compare the current component prices, inclusions, transfers and timing. This guide does not promise a discount simply because a product is called a package.

Do I receive a refund if only one water game is cancelled?

Ask the booking team how an affected component is handled. The general terms do not establish a universal partial-refund amount for every activity combination.

Can I schedule another excursion immediately afterward?

Allow for the full program and confirmed hotel return, including transfers and coordination. A flight duration or approximate itinerary is not a guarantee of a precise return time.

Choose the activity you most want, open its booking page above and confirm the complete arrangement for your group. A clear list of inclusions is more useful than a long list of possible activities.
